In the world of Zanzibar, danger lurks in every corner; monsters roam free, daemons dominate the night and nature has its own will. It is not safe to live alone. People turn to their totems for protection. Totems are as strong as gods and live together with their followers in their world.

A word from the writer

In 2015, three friends and I started to play a campaign in the world of Totems. Inspired by the adventures that we I engaged in, I am now writing these stories to remind myself of the good times.

Totems are the physical manifestations of gods that roam the plains of Mundus. They live among their followers so that, with their godly power, they can protect the weak from the danger that comes out at night. This shielded life, however, is not available for everyone.

Tales of Totems is the story of three unlikely friends who have gathered under the protection of their Totem but are chosen to adventure far outside the safety of their home.
